This connector is typical used in projects where complete Nissan LEAF high voltage batteries are being repurposed in second life applications such as stationary battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Orange insulated cable is included attached to the connector.

The 0.7m and 1.0m options are in as-new condition and are sourced from a LEAF. These use 50mm² single insulated cable. This cable size is much larger than it typically required in BESS applications, however there generally is no downside to using cabling that is heavier than necessary.

The 2.0m and 3.0m options uses new terminals and double insulated 35mm² orange cabling fitted to a connector housing in as-new condition. While even smaller cable would be suitable in many BESS applications, this is the minimum cable size accepted by the terminals available for this connector housing.

For 2013 and later LEAF battery packs, a PTC Delete Cap is typically also required.
